Dr. George M. Hidy is internationally known for his leadership in environmental research, particularly atmospheric aerosols and energy related pollutants. Currently he is a principal of Envair/Aerochem and is co-chair of the NARSTO Analysis and Assessment Team. Dr. Hidy has served as an executive with The Center for Environmental Monitoring and Research (New Mexico State University), EPRI, the Desert Research Institute (University of Nevada System), Environmental Research and Technology, and the Rockwell International Science Center. He also has held affiliate appointments to university faculties, including the University of Alabama at Birmingham, The University of Nevada Las Vegas, California Institute of Technology, and Colorado State University. Since founding Envair/Aerochem, Dr. Hidy has continued his research activities in support of developing information for environmental policy development. He is the author or co-author of more than 150 articles or books in the peer-reviewed literature.
