Developing
Country Classification
Countries classified as developing countries for the purpose of the
2008 Joint Conference are those whose economies are listed by the
World Bank as ‘Low Income,” “Lower Middle Income,”
or “Upper Middle Income” in the World Development Report
2007.
Based on this report, residents of countries EXCEPT the following
are eligible to register for the conference under the category of
“developing country.” Individuals must be residing in
the developing country to qualify for the reduced rate.
