THE
HUNTINGTON LIBRARY, ART COLLECTIONS, AND BOTANICAL GARDENS

The Huntington is an oasis of art and culture set amidst 150 acres
of breathtaking gardens. The Library features works from British and
American history and literature, including an original Gutenberg Bible
and Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. Three art galleries showcase 18th
and 19th Century British and French masterpieces, including the "Blue
Boy" and "Pinkie." Fifteen gardens feature 14,000 species
of plants.

JET PROPULSION LABORATORY
4800 Oak Grove Drive, Pasadena
The JPL
offers Visitor Day tours for individuals and families (up to nine
persons) several times per month. These tours run approximately once
per week on Monday or Wednesday on an alternating basis. Visitor Day
Tours are generally held at 1:00 p.m. Or, to make a reservation for

NORTON SIMON MUSEUM
411 West Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena
The Norton
Simon features seven centuries of European art from the Renaissance
to the 20th century, including works by van Gogh, Picasso, Rembrandt,
and Fragonard. The museum also features an extensive collection of
South Asian sculpture and a sculpture garden with works of Rodin.

ROSE BOWL

The stadium is the proud home of the Tournament of Roses Football
Game, UCLA Bruin Football, Fourth of July celebrations, concerts,
religious services, filmings and the World's Largest Flea Market (R.G.
Canning). UCLA’s football team will play Stanford University
on Saturday, October 18, 2008.
A National Historic Landmark built in 1922 and known mainly for the
New Year's Tournament of Roses Football Game, the Rose Bowl Stadium
has also earned its World-Class Reputation by hosting five NFL Super
Bowl Games, the 1984 Olympic Soccer Matches, the 1994 Men's World
Cup, the 1999 Women's World Cup, the 2002 and 2006 BCS National College
Football Championship Games and numerous other memorable events over
the past eighty plus years.

L.A. COUNTY ARBORETUM
& BOTANIC GARDEN

This 127-acre horticultural and botanical center features plants from
around the world, native and migrating birds, wildlife, colorful peacocks,
and historic buildings, including the Queen Anne Cottage made famous
in Fantasy Island. Open daily, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., except Christmas.

DESCANSO GARDENS

Located on 160 acres, Descanso Gardens features forests, streams,

PACIFIC ASIA MUSEUM

Housed in the historic Grace Nicholson mansion, the museum is dedicated
to the preservation, promotion and understanding of the arts and culture
of Asia and the Pacific. Listed on the National Register of Historic
Places.
