Energy security and climate change are pivotal challenges of our day. And they are of prime concern to Charles E. Bunch, chairman and chief executive officer of Pittsburgh’s own PPG Industries. Leading the world’s top coatings and specialty products company, Bunch is taking action by establishing conservation and emissions reduction programs, supporting innovative products and technologies, and by engaging in the national dialogue on energy policy. Bunch serves as chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers and the National Paint and Coatings Association. He is a member of the University of Pittsburgh’s Board of Trustees, and a member of the boards of directors of the H.J. Heinz Corp. and PNC Financial Services Corp.
